The Purity Test has historically served as a segue from O-week to true college life at Rice.
It’s a voluntary opportunity for O-week groups to bond, and for students to track the maturation
of their experiences throughout college.

Purity tests are a national phenomenon that have risen to widespread popularity within the last several years. It is defined by Wikipedia as A self-graded survey that assesses the participants supposed a degree of innocence in worldly matters (sex, drugs, deceit and other activities assumed to be vices). It is based off of a percentage scale with 100% being the most pure and 0% being the least pure.
